Treat yourself with a delicious stop!
" Al Panigaccio" restaurant takes its name from a typical dish
of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennine: a dough of flour, water and salt,
unleavened and baked in a particular mould, made in terracotta (somewhere else in cast iron) called "Testo", red-hot on the open fire.
Just as you have crossed the entrance arch to Compiano Castle, the sign "Al Panigaccio"welcomes you.
Between 1966 and 1987, the house of Marchesa Lina Raimondi Gambarotta's butler was carefully restored and today it is a restaurant characterized by a wide panoramic terrace and by a room on the ground floor with an open kitchen and large spaces upstairs, some of them are equipped with windows directly overlooking the towers and the walls of the Castle.
In summertime you will enjoy our amazing panoramic terrace!
The cuisine proposes appetizers of Emilian cold cuts and cheese platters to be tasted with our "panigacci", first courses of the Parma tradition, grilled meat and strictly homemade cakes.
