Every Summer the park surrounding the Compiano Castle and its open-air pool are opened. The latter,  11x5.5m long and 135 cm deep, is situated in a panoramic position overlooking the Taro Valley and facing the Castle. It offers both hotel guests and external customers relaxing moments. And much more: sun beds and beach umbrellas, a poolside shower, tables and chairs and a "pool bar," set up inside an old mill where drinks, ice creams, sandwiches and hot dishes can be ordered. Support toilets are located not far from the pool, inside the basement of the Castle, and they can be accessed via a flight of stairs.
A small dressing room is located on the upper floor of the pool bar.
The pool bar is open starting from 2:00 PM. Alternatively, the restaurant Al Panigaccio provides for the service starting from 12:00 PM.

_rules

​

• In accordance with the regulations of the Emilia Romagna Region for pools with a surface of less than 100 m² and a depth of 140 cm or less, a life guard is not compulsory.

• The use of a swimming cap is not compulsory.

• Before diving into the water of the swimming pool, it is compulsory to take a thorough shower. The swimmers who spend long periods of time outside the pool and then again into the water are obliged to take a shower again before diving into it.

• Washing with soap, shower gel or shampoo at the poolside shower is forbidden.

• Children under the age of 10 are allowed to use the pool only if accompanied by one of their parents or someone on their behalf; the Company has no control obligation towards them.

• It is strictly forbidden to dive into the pool.

• It is forbidden to spread towels on the lawn.

• Balls, paddles and large inflatables as well as boards and flippers are not allowed inside the pool.

• It is recommended to occupy only the sunbed and beach umbrella positions reserved by the Management.

• For reasons of decency, would you please wear slippers and clothing in the common areas (bathrooms, reception, pool bar).

• Dogs are allowed in the park area (not inside the pool), provided they are on a leash.

• The Company is not liable for any theft or damage that may occur inside or outside the pool.

• The Management reserves the right to prohibit access to the pool when private parties and weddings are held in the park.

• For those who enter the pool, the ticket to the museum collections is reduced to € 7.00 .

• To ensure the best possible service and proper access to our facility, on weekends and holidays we require pool guests to confirm their attendance by providing credit card details. In case you give written cancellation before 24 hours from the booked date (e. g. by 2 p.m. on Friday if you have a reservation on Saturday from 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.), no amount will be taken.

• From June to mid-September the swimming pool located in the castle grounds will be available for hotel guests from the afternoon of the day of arrival (h14:00 - 18:30) to the morning of departure (H: 10:00 - 14:00). Having limited locations and being open to outsiders, it is MANDATORY TO RESERVE should you wish to use it. If we do not receive directions from you regarding use, we will not guarantee the location. Any extensions of use will be charged at the rate in our price list and will be subject to availability on the day requested. In case of reservation, we will charge on the cost of the room € 3 per person, for the laundry service of bath towels, this charge will be made for each day on which the reservation is made.

RATES
Half day 1 person: 8.00 admission + 3.00 place for each person + 7.00 museum + 10.00 Aperitif = 28.00 euro
Full day: 12.00 admission + 4.00 place for each person + 7.00 museum + 10.00 Aperitif = 33.00 euro

The fee includes entrance fee to the castle swimming pool, guided tour of museum collections of the Castle, aperitif (a la carte drinks) in the pool relaxation area.
