Compiano Castle will enrich its cultural offer based on its two permanent collections of Raimondi Gambarotta House Museum and the International Museum of Freemasonry, with the temporary exhibition entitled “Sacro Cuore" (Holy Heart), open to the public from Saturday 15th April next to Sunday 22nd October 2023.

The event wants to be a tribute to the history of the Female College of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, active inside the rooms of the Castle of Compiano from 1900 to 1962. The material collected during archival research by the museum curator Mrs Chiara Palumbo will see the exhibition of photographic and documentary material, as well as liturgical goldsmith objects and original furniture, enriched by information deduced from interviews with some former pupils of the boarding school.

Opening time:

May and October: Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays 10am-5pm
June and September: Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday 10am-5pm

July and August: every day 10am-5pm

The visit is included in the entrance ticket. Admission only exhibition 2 euro.
